Japanese Prefecture Drill is an Android app designed to help users learn the names and shapes of Japanese prefectures. Developed by Saisaki Create, this free app falls under the Education & Reference category.

The app presents users with questions displayed in a cute interface. Users must choose the correct answer from four options. The questions cover various topics, including matching prefecture names with their respective capital names, prefecture names with their shapes (for level 2 and above), and prefecture names with their locations (also for level 2 and above).

The faster users select the correct answer, the higher their scores. Even if they take their time, they will still earn at least 1 point. The app provides 10 questions per round, and users can aim for high scores. There is also a continuous mode for those who want to keep testing their knowledge.

For a more challenging experience, users can select level 3, where the prefecture map is displayed in different directions. Level 4 takes it up a notch by rotating the maps. Additionally, users can customize the expression of prefecture names by choosing from options such as alphabet, Japanese kanji, Japanese hiragana, kanji & hiragana, and alphabet & kanji by pressing the ≡ button.
