This handy tool is available to download in the Google Play Store for free. It is offered in two languages: English and Spanish. With the official development of this app, you will be able to connect and view your IRS needs whenever you want, wherever you are. An alternative app for this is TurboTax.

Supposedly useful but not functional at all

As stated, IRS2Go enables you to monitor the status of your refund. It can supposedly give you an update within 24 hours after your filed your return online or about four weeks subsequent to the time you mailed your paper return. However, most of the previous users that tried to file for their tax refund haven't gotten any response aside from the never-changing processing status.

Considering that this is the official mobile application of the Internal Revenue Service, IRS2Go is a major let down especially for citizens who needs convenient tax assistance. The entire utility needs to be revamped if the governing agency is still eager to give a satisfying experience to the citizens. Moreover, they should improve their customer service reception to cater to all, if not, most of the queries of the taxpayers.
