If you are an Instagram user, you are likely to have had the experience of having someone who doesn’t follow you back. In fact, this experience is so common that Instagram has a term for it: “Unfollowing”.

What is “Unfollowing”?

When you follow someone on Instagram, you’ll see that icon next to their profile. If you click on it, you’ll be taken to their profile, where you can see their photos, stories, and other information. You can also view their followers, who follow them, and who don’t.

This icon will show up on your own profile as well. If you click on it, you’ll be taken to your own profile.
