IPNetwork Monitor includes an integrated MCP (Model Context Protocol) server that lets teams use AI assistants such as Claude and Cursor to manage configuration and retrieve operational data using natural-language commands. Through this interface, users can add hosts, set up checks, define alert rules, and query status and performance information in a conversational workflow.

About
The software supports common protocols and connection methods, including SNMP, WMI, SSH, HTTP/HTTPS, TCP/UDP, and ODBC-based database queries. It can track availability and key metrics for servers, workstations, printers, email services, websites, and other connected systems. For distributed environments, Remote Network Agents collect data from machines that are not directly reachable. Alerts can be delivered through multiple notification channels, and reports with charts are available through a web interface for review and troubleshooting.
