Indigenous NT - A ChromeOS Extension for Your Keyboard

Indigenous NT is a ChromeOS extension for your keyboard that replaces the dead keys with the new "Indigenous NT" layout, which is compatible with all official languages of the Northwest Territories, Canada. It features a standard US keyboard layout, unlike previous ChromeOS versions of the keyboard, which were only compatible with the English language.

To get started, open the Chrome app on your device, and then open the extension. After the installation is complete, the extension will be displayed in your settings. Next, select the time.

To set your keyboard language, open the "Languages and inputs" section. You should see the word "Indigenous NT" at the end. Click it to enable it.

This keyboard is designed for use with native language speakers and uses the same keystrokes as the standard keyboard on your device. There are two options in the keyboard section of the settings: "Show input options in the shelf" and "Show input options in the pane." Enabling either will display the other layout on your screen.
