iModelKit Light is a free iPhone app developed by id6 Sarl that aims to simplify the work of scale model builders. With a comprehensive set of easy-to-use tools, iModelKit Light provides a range of features to assist model builders in their projects.

One of the main features of iModelKit Light is the ability to browse paint charts from various color standards and model kit paint manufacturers. This allows users to easily find the right colors for their models. Additionally, the app provides scratch material catalogs for reference.

Another useful feature is the ability to create custom charts and catalogs and share them with others. This allows users to organize their own collection of references and easily access them whenever needed.

iModelKit Light also includes a paint mixer tool, which allows users to mix their paints and compute the mix from a base color. Users can view the results in real size or in 3D on the screen. The app also provides the option to find references in catalogs based on scale computations.

For users who need advanced features, iModelKit Light offers the option to upgrade to the Pay release with the Inventory module through in-app purchase. This upgrade removes ads and interstitials and adds additional features such as the full set of paint equivalence, advanced paint mixer capabilities, automatic detection of paint chart and catalog updates, and more.

Overall, iModelKit Light is a handy tool for scale model builders, providing a range of features to simplify the process of building and painting models. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced model builder, this app can be a valuable addition to your toolkit.
