With the Immersive HUD - iHUD mod, you can unpack the archive file and copy the modImmersiveHUD which is designed to make the Heads-Up Display (HUD) less intrusive while still remaining useful. It is a mod for the game, not an application.

When you open the game, you can see the message on the screen and if you press the space bar, the message will disappear.

There is an option to hide the message when you close the game.

You can also choose what kind of messages you want to hide.

You can also change the color of the text.

When you press the arrow keys, you can navigate through the menus.

You can also change the color of the icons.

The icons are images that are used to represent different types of files and folders.
