In Idle Asterix, you take on the role of a Gaulish Chief and manage your own village. Your objective is to hire workers, gather resources, and upgrade your brave Gauls like Asterix and Obelix to embark on adventures. One such adventure is the rescue of poor Dogmatix, who has been captured by the Romans.

The game features idle mechanics, allowing you to hire overseers who automate the production of sesterces, the in-game currency. Even when you're not playing, your workers continue to produce sesterces for you. As you progress, you can improve your production to increase the amount of sesterces collected by your workers.

Unlocking famous Gaulish heroes is another exciting aspect of the game. By fighting against the Romans, you can unlock more production fields as you traverse through Gaul. Additionally, you have the opportunity to tinker with new and epic bonuses that will aid you in your battle against the Romans.
