Idle Aqua Driller is a premium simulation game by Idle Aqua Driller DEV. It’s an incremental idle sim experience wherein players will take on the role of an underwater miner who will delve into the ocean’s depths to build drilling rigs to pave the way deeper and to collect any valuable resources they find along the way.  

Deep ocean miner 

In Idle Aqua Driller, you’re tasked with creating and managing a drilling operation base across the seabed. Hire divers to mine resources for you and send out submarines to explore deeper down the seabed to unlock new layers called ‘decks’ to discover more valuable resources, but require better gear to properly excavate and mine. 

To help with that, invest in an extensive skill tree to unlock upgrades and perks to handle tougher drilling and mining tasks for deeper levels. An area where the game needs improvement is performance, where occasional lag and slowdowns happen. Also, it’s not a particularly long experience, so expect a rather short playthrough. 

Nice but short 

All in all, Idle Aqua Driller is a fun little game if you’re fond of idle games with incremental progression. It’s easy to get into, yet there is a nice amount of depth to the gameplay experience. It won’t be a particularly long game, but it’s well worth experiencing. Check it out now.
