Identificador is a simple and free Android application that allows users to know the name of the phone company they are calling. It was created due to the fact that in Guatemala there are three phone companies: CLARO, TIGO, and MOVISTAR. All three offer free calls to other numbers within their own company. For example, if you have a phone plan with CLARO, you can make free calls to other CLARO numbers, but how do you know if the number you're calling is also with CLARO? That's where Identificador comes in handy.

To use Identificador, simply dial the number of your contact or search for it in your phone's address book. When you press the fourth digit, the application will display the logo of the phone company you are calling.

Please note that Identificador only works for phone numbers in the Republic of Guatemala.
