How to play

In this game, you will play as Aya, a shy, anxious teen who wants nothing more than to start over in her senior year of high school. Your new haircut has everyone in class falling in love with you at your new school and among new people. You will decide how you will make friends with cute girls who want more than just friendship.

As the cast includes lesbian, bi, trans, and other characters, you can play as a non-binary, ace/aro protagonist, and many more. They also have a love meter that tracks your level of affection for all characters, allowing you to balance your feelings for them all. It also includes minigames in which you can interact with various characters. Their art and soundtrack are heavily influenced by mid-2000s anime and manga.

I Just Want to be Single!! also features animated manga cutscenes with voice acting, allowing you to be more immersed in the game. They provide a variety of unique endings in which you date or befriend each girl individually or all of them at the same time. Overall, the game is simple and easy to understand, with only a few crashes as the game is still in development.
