I am President is a game that allows you to take on the role of the President of the United States in what is a deliberately satirical experience that pokes gentle fun at the Commander in Chief.

Poking fun at POTUS

Although the stars and stripes in the design of I am President may make you think of the current incumbent of the White House, the game doesn't necessarily poke fun at any particular president. In the game, you take the role of the supreme political leader in the country which is faced with various problems that need to be overcome. In a series of levels, which the app developers refer to as scenarios, you must make the big decisions and stand by them. Essentially, this is an old-fashioned 'choose your own adventure' sort of game format which has been updated for the twenty-first century. In the age of Presidential Twitter feeds, all I am President requires players to do is to swipe left or right to make the big calls of the day. With an accent on satirical humour, there are over 150 scenarios to explore.
