HyRead Library Annotation Export is a Chrome add-on developed by powentan0330. This free tool enhances the HyRead Library service by adding an annotation export feature. Users can now easily export their annotations and notes from HyRead Library EPub books.

The add-on offers three ways to export annotations: from "My Bookshelf," from "Borrowing History," and while "Online Reading." Users have the option to export the annotations to a file or directly to Readwise Reader.

For those wondering where the exported files are located, they can be found in the browser's default download directory. Simply open the URL "chrome://downloads/" to access your downloaded files.

To customize the download path, users can modify the settings in the browser. Open the URL "chrome://settings/downloads" to change the download location according to your preference.

It's important to note that not all books can be exported. In the "Borrowing History" section, if a book is not available for "Online Reading," it cannot be exported due to the unavailability of book information.

Lastly, the Readwise Reader currently only supports adding annotations. As of now (as of June 10, 2023), it does not have the functionality to edit or delete annotations. Any future API updates may improve the integration with Readwise Reader, allowing for more comprehensive annotation management.
