Hypnospace Outlaw is a simulation game by Tendershoot, which has a cyberpunk theme with visuals reminiscent of the vaporwave scene. In an alternate history of 1999 where the Internet is accessed by sleeping, players patrol the cyberspace as members of the Hypnospace Patrol Department. The goal is to maintain peace over the Internet as the new millennium arrives. Players have to investigate cases and capture any culprits. They also have to avoid viruses, adware, hackers, and other virtual threats. A successful operation rewards players with virtual currency. They can also hunt down Hypnocoins, hidden web pages, download links, and secrets. The player’s home page can be customized with apps and decorations and there will be apps that could either help or slow down players on their patrolling.
