HVACR Check & Charge™ app from Emerson Climate Technologies is a free mobile app that assists HVACR technicians and contractors with calculating the correct refrigerant charge for air conditioning and refrigeration systems based on a variety of operating conditions.

The app provides real-time guidance as a contractor or technician attempts to calculate the proper refrigerant charge based on system operating conditions. After logging into the app, users can choose from three modes of operation, Superheat, Subcooling, and Airflow.

Superheat is the most ideal mode for calculating the refrigerant charge for applications that include superheating systems, such as central air conditioning, rooftop air conditioning, split-system air conditioning, cooling, and ice-making. Users simply need to enter the desired system temperature along with the specified outdoor and indoor environmental loads to determine the proper system charge.
