Flick Fan is an application designed for iPhone users to practice flick input (typing). Once familiar with flick input, users can achieve fast and smooth typing experiences. The app offers features such as input practice for words and short sentences, a daily proficiency test, a ranking mode, and graph displays of test results.

The main difference between the free and paid versions lies in the presence of ads only. To play, users select a mode on the title screen, switch the keyboard to flick input on the practice screen, input the displayed "kana" characters via flicking to start measurement, and can challenge a daily test once a day. The results screen shows past highest records for tests, words, and short sentences, with a graph displaying test scores for the past 40 days.
