The game's premise follows an office clerk who works in a storage department. The clerk's career lasts 40 years, with each year corresponding to an in-game puzzle. The game's mechanics are simple but get more complicated as the player progresses through the levels, introducing concepts such as memory addresses. The player controls the character using commands that remind the assembly language and handwritten notes represent the instructions given to the character. The game tests the player's program and informs them if it works or not through a supervisor character.
