Universe For Sale is a single-player adventure game that puts you in a universe crafting gameplay wherein you can create small universes inside a ceramic cup and sell it. Set in the Jupiter world, as a player, you can explore every corner and listen to every customer’s story who passes by the Jupiter market. Developed by Timesis Studio, it’s available on PCs and gaming consoles. 

Universe For Sale is similar to games like The Walking Dead, Night in the Woods, Machinarium, and Minds Beneath Us — which gives players a narrative-focused visual novel adventure gameplay. Here, you’ll play as Lila using the game’s point-and-click mechanics. 

Play as Lila and create an entire universe 

Universe For Sale’s story centers around Lila, a young woman who has the special ability to build a planet in the palm of her hand. As a player, you’ll step into the role of Lila, and you’ll craft cosmos inside a cup. Aside from Lila, another playable character in this game is the master who got intrigued by Lila’s ability to create universes.  

In addition to creating small planets, players can freely explore the game setting as well, including tea houses, strange oddity shops, and mechanic garages. Here, you’ll meet a variety of unique characters too from humans and simians to skeletal and robotics, where each of them has a story to tell. The gameplay revolves around exploring the Jupiter world and talking to customers who visit the market. 

Additionally, mini-games may occasionally pop up in the game that will require you to do some action while traversing the Jupiter world. This includes fixing a broken wind turbine, controlling a complex gun, and navigating an asteroid field to find scrap. Even Lila’s universe creation ability is part of the game’s mini-game. However, as the game focuses on universe creation, it doesn’t offer a character development feature.
