The new HP Roam is a Print Subscription-based Service. Users can get their printers and print from anywhere without having to install drivers or download any apps. The new HP Roam provides a similar printing experience across desktop and mobile devices.

When a user submits a print job, the service first checks if the printer is on the same network. If it is, the service downloads the appropriate driver and then downloads the required font and image from the Internet. It then creates a document with the information that the user has provided and sends it to the user's printer.
