Check-in daily and share how you feel
HowWeFeel is a mobile health and fitness application developed by The How We Feel Project, Inc.—an independent and non-profit organization specifically founded to help fight the COVID-19 pandemic. With this app, you will take approximately 30 seconds of your time to do daily health check-ins that can aid doctors and scientists to track and fight the virus and get ahead of it. On top of that, the organization donates a meal to people in need through Feeding America for every download this app accumulates.
Track symptoms and be informed
HowWeFeel app only asks you to provide some basic information about yourself, such as your location, sex, age, current work industry, previous health history, as well as how you are feeling on a daily basis. If it so happens that you are feeling sick on a particular day, it’ll ask further questions regarding your symptoms. As much as possible, it prevents the risk of your data to be associated with your identity—thus, It does not require you to sign in and it does not ask your name, email, or phone number.
Once you are done answering all the app queries, it will encourage you to share them among your friends, colleagues, and family members through various messaging and social media apps such as Twitter, Messenger, and Facebook. Day by day, you’ll see the ratio number of people feeling well and not feeling well around your area. You’ll see the number of people who checked in today. You have the option to set a daily reminder time so the app will notify you when its time for you to check-in. You can also enable the push notifications for you to receive the latest updates in your area.
The resources tab of HowWeFeel app shows various COVID-19 prevention guidelines, wherein the proper process is explained in detail. If you want to read more extensive information regarding Coronavirus you can tap the "CDC.gov" button when you scroll down below. You will then be redirected to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention website that presents COVID-19 symptoms, what you should do if you have symptoms, and how to protect yourself from the virus.
