How to Say Goodbye is a narrative puzzle game developed by ARTE Experience for the Nintendo Switch platform. The game revolves around the story of a ghost who is lost in an unfamiliar world along with other disoriented spirits. The objective of the game is to manipulate the world to help the characters escape the liminal world in which they are lost. The game features more than 15 chapters, from the kitchen to the moon, where the players have to solve tricky grid-based puzzles.

The game is inspired by illustration and great classics of children's literature, such as Tomi Ungerer, Tove Jansson, Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, Maurice Sendak, and others. The game's theme is centered around grief and loss, and it deals with these emotions with kindness and subtlety. Players get to meet various characters, help them find peace, and mourn their own death. The game also features a mysterious Wizard and Spleens, the misguided spirits that haunt the other side, and players have to unveil their secrets to guide the ghosts out of the strange world in which they are trapped.
