The Hotstar VPN Performance

Sadly, the Hotstar VPN is very disappointing in terms of performance. It's easy enough to install. Just follow the standard procedure of downloading and running the installer file to get it going. Unfortunately, that's pretty much the only thing positive about it.  All of the servers offered by the app are from volunteers which means there are no dedicated servers that could ensure quick connections and high speeds. Unsurprisingly, connecting to the server takes a bit of time. Though the app states that the user has connected to the server, it's unclear whether the VPN is already running or not. Speeds are also not affected, although it may be because the VPN isn't working.  The biggest problem with this app, however, is its obnoxious ads. This app has a lot of ads, and you’d be faced with an ad two or three times even without doing anything on the screen.

Find Something Else

Rather than Hotstar VPN, it might be a better idea to invest on an actual VPN like Windscribe or ExpressVPN. These other VPNs will serve you well and serve you better than Hotstar VPN. You’ll be able to watch Hotstar as well as do a wide range of things with real VPNs.
