Take to the Skies

Take control of your very own plane as you soar through the skies. But beware of obstacles!

Simple Airborne Fun

The premise of Horizon Escape is simple enough. You take control of an aircraft in a stylised world of sky and obstacles. As long as you don't hit those obstacles, you get to stay in the air. Ultimately it is a game in which your reaction times and hand-eye coordination will play a big role. There are missions for you complete, a free roaming mode, an infinite mode, and a time trial mode for you to compete against the clock. The appearance of the game is reminiscent of early flying simulators with low polygon 3D models, and is very colourful and pleasant to look at. At times, however, when many colourful obstacles are on the screen, it can be difficult to distinguish your plane from the environment. Needless to say, that can make it difficult to control.

Fun But Not Much Lasting Power

Horizon Escape is undoubtedly fun to play, and looks amazing. There are some issues with the aforementioned difficulty seeing your plane, and there really isn't that much content to keep you playing, but for a fun little jaunt every now and again, this a great little game.
