Hook is a new music performance, mashup, and DJ app for iPhone and iPad. It allows users to arrange and trigger loops on a grid, creating dynamic and expressive transitions. The app features the Flux Fader, a multitouch "smart crossfader" that enables users to make transitions between tracks and cells on the fly. With a two-axis control and various effects such as riser synths, glitch and gate effects, tempo-synced filter sweeps, and more, the Flux Fader offers a range of creative possibilities.

Hook also includes a full editor with auto transient slicing and waveform editing. It seamlessly integrates with AudioCopy, making it easy to import loops and sounds from other apps. The app offers a powerful integrated sampler, allowing users to record from the microphone, other apps via inter-app audio, and even grab hooks from iTunes and Spotify. Users can change the tempo in real-time and keep all their hooks in sync.

With a full mixer, multiple tracks, integrated FX bus, per-cell effects, transpose, time stretching, tuning, timing, and trigger settings, Hook provides users with a comprehensive mashup tool. It offers clip launching capabilities similar to Ableton Live in a futuristic multitouch environment.
