HomeWAV is a free Android app that connects incarcerated individuals with their loved ones in a home environment. With HomeWAV, you don't have to worry about the hassle of traveling or scheduling an appointment to visit the inmate at the facility.

The HomeWAV mobile app is user-friendly and has a simple login process. After creating a free account, fully registered and approved visitors can choose the facility and add the inmate. The app allows you to see available funds, add or transfer funds, and update your credit or debit information. Unlike other services, HomeWAV only charges for the minutes used, eliminating the need for any plans or packages.

Once logged in, the inmate will see that you are available and can initiate a phone call, video call, or message, if allowed by the facility. Visitors will receive a notification once the inmate is logged in. The app also allows you to schedule on-site visits, if the facility permits it, and there's no scheduling required for remote video visitations.

For the best experience, a WIFI connection and use of a headset are recommended. However, please note that HomeWAV is not available at all facilities and phone and video costs may vary.
