HOMESICKNESS, developed by jnity and celesware and published by jnity for PC, is a horror adventure game in which players take on the role of a kid named Theo who must navigate the nostalgic expanse of a daycare called CHILDREEF and make their way out. 

Rendered in 3D graphics with the look of early retro titles, HOMESICKNESS delivers a thrilling playthrough with narrative-driven non-linear gameplay, point-and-click and survival mechanics, and Metroidvania elements. It also features lite gameplay randomization, which slightly changes the environment for every game over, making every playthrough unpredictable. So, certain aspects of a room can appear or disappear completely. 

This title stands out for its accessible design and customizable user interface. It allows players to choose between mouse-only or keyboard-and-mouse controls, letting them play it based on their preference. What’s more, this emotionally narrative-driven game has expansive post-game content for those who want more after finishing the main storyline. However, this game is not suitable for young audiences due to its gameplay nature.
