Home Theater Speaker Check is a utility designed for iPhone users to optimize their surround sound audio system. It helps users set up and enjoy their audio system by verifying proper Dolby Digital decoding, confirming speaker configurations, and evaluating surround sound speakers individually. The app uses specially produced surround sound music tracks with on-screen visual graphics, offering a more pleasant experience compared to traditional white noise tests.

Developed by musician Jeff Perrin, the app features four different surround sound test tracks, including content from 'Home Theater Ear Candy', the first surround sound music app-album. Users can ensure the integrity of their surround systems while enjoying immersive audio experiences. Please note that for Dolby Digital playback, an Apple TV connected to a compatible home theater system with front and rear speakers is required.
