First-person psychologically driven horror game
Hololive Error is a first-person horror RPG that places a great deal of focus on strange paranormal happenings. Users will be immersed in a dark atmosphere that has been inspired by Japanese anime gameplay. This RPG is a nice option for fans of the Hololive franchise.
The first-person perspective of Hololive Error is similar to other games, such as Saiko no Sutoka. Solving puzzles and navigating through unfamiliar environments provide an extra level of suspense, though it does have a sparse storyline.
Unlike traditional first-person horror RPGs, the main character will not normally be required to hunt for resources or to gather weapons. Instead, he must rely on deductive instincts in order to progress from level to level.
Taking on the role of an occult journalist, players will need to find and interpret various notes that provide clues. Each of these can then be used to unlock additional secrets.
The gameplay associated with Hololive Error is rather straightforward. The majority of this platform will be spent exploring different environments and, occasionally, acquiring items that can be used (such as keys to unlock doors). There are also times when users will be required to avoid ghosts and other NPCs.
The creators of Hololive Error state that it is a direct descendant of previously successful variants, such as DOOG (Hololive Fan Game). So, those who have already played existing versions might be provided with a slight edge. Having said this, fans of horror-themed RPGs, as well as occasional jumpscares, should enjoy what this bundle has to offer.
