Pakistan is a country in South Asia, bordering Afghanistan and India. It is the 7th largest country in the world by area, the 2nd largest by population, and the 10th largest by economy. It is one of the most diverse countries, with a large number of ethnic groups, and speaks a variety of languages. In recent years, Pakistan has faced a number of challenges, including the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, the emergence of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant, and the 2015 bombing campaign in the Kashmir region. These attacks have been used by the enemies as a means of pursuing their political goals, and have caused widespread anti-Americanism in Pakistan.
