Hire and Fire your Kids is a unique parenting app developed by Hire and Fire your Kids. The app is designed to motivate kids to help around the house while teaching them the value of a dollar. With its gamified system to manage behaviors and chores, the app uses recognition, reward and consequence to prepare kids for the real world. The app is customizable, allowing parents to set expectations, family values and rules in a digital format.

The app is divided into two parts: HIRED (chores) and FIRED (behaviors). Parents post jobs for HIRE around the house and kids learn to take initiative by applying to the job board and completing selected jobs to earn cash allowance or rewards. Family expectations or rules are set and measured on a daily basis to drive awareness. Catch your kid not following an expectation and give them a warning x. Too many x’s? Go ahead and FIRE your kid! The object of the game is for the players (kids) to finish each pay period without getting fired and earn the incentive ‘Not Fired’ and ‘Teamwork’ Bonuses making them eligible for Employee of the Month.
