Himawari 8 Satellite New Tab Page: Earth image is a simple and free browser extension that displays the latest image of Earth as seen from a satellite every time you open a new tab. Himawari 8 is a satellite launched by Japan's Meteorological Agency.

This extension supports images from the GOES, DSCOVR, and Meteosat satellites. Through the satellite's photographic technology, you can see how the Earth looks every after 10 minutes. 

You can choose between Himawari 8 images and the other ones and save your favorite image as an image file.
