Hexxagon is an abstract strategy board game developed by eSolutions Nordic AB. Based on an early 90's game, it involves play by two parties on a hexagonal grid. The objective of the game is to make your pieces constitute a majority of the pieces on the board at the end of the game, by converting as many of your opponent's pieces as possible.

The gameplay of Hexxagon revolves around covering as many spaces on the board with your color as possible. This is achieved by moving, jumping, and converting your opponent's pieces. When it's your turn to move, simply select the piece you wish to move and touch an empty space on the board to move to. You can either move one space in any direction or jump two spaces, as long as the destination is empty.

Capturing an empty space by moving or jumping also captures any adjacent opponent's pieces. The game ends when there are no empty spaces left or when a player cannot make a move. If a player cannot move, the remaining empty spaces are captured by the other player, and the player with the majority of pieces on the board wins.

Scoring in Hexxagon is based on the number of pieces you have occupied when the game ends. You earn 1 point for each occupied piece. Additionally, if you own all the pieces on the board when the game ends, regardless of the board size, you receive 100 points (200 points for boss levels). Your highest score for the current level is displayed if you improve upon it.
