This Android app, developed by Onetree, allows you to participate in a research study by combining genetic cancer screening with surveys about your environment, behaviors, and lifestyle.

With the Healthy Oregon Project HOP app, you can easily review the study information and consent to participate. Additionally, you can complete surveys about your health habits and environment, providing valuable data for early detection research. You can also find information on where and how to donate a saliva sample for genetic screening.

One of the key features of the app is the ability to view your genetic screening results, which are provided at no cost. These results will identify whether your DNA indicates a risk for certain inheritable diseases. The app also provides updates about the study and offers access to health resources.

The Healthy Oregon Project HOP aims to enroll over 100,000 people in the study. If you live in Oregon or SW Washington, you are eligible to join. The initial funding for this project comes from the Cancer Early Detection Advanced Research Center (CEDAR), a part of the Oregon Health Sciences University (OHSU) Knight Cancer Institute.
