Head Ball 2 - Online Soccer is a free sports game from Masomo Gaming. This fun, online experience puts you in intense one-on-one battles with customizable miniature characters. It retains the basic premise of football: to send the ball to the opponent’s goal. However, you maneuver and hit the ball primarily with your oversized head instead of kicking it across the field, which is quite similar to volleyball.

With a friendly, cartoony visual and smooth gameplay, Head Ball 2 - Online Soccer is an excellent casual game you can share with friends. You can also check Football Strike or eFootball 2023.

Use your head and score goals

The defining feature of Head Ball 2 - Online Soccer is its character design. You only see a head, a stylized collar, and a shoe, and that’s it. Still, a large part of this game’s enduring player base is the ability to customize this simple design into virtually endless combinations. You can go for designs inspired by real-world athletes or those of sci-fi and fantasy creatures.

Gameplay-wise, this program is still football in a loose sense. You control your character to try and bump the ball to send it straight into the opponent’s goal. However, its unique control system both spices up the gameplay experience and poses a wall for new players. Additionally, there are special skills in the game that open up even more possibilities.

Since it’s free to play, expect it to have ads. Unfortunately, the ads occur in every single match. Also, its in-game purchases also favor those willing to make them, even at the cost of being overwhelmingly against free players. For example, certain upgrades allow your character to be almost twice or thrice as large as the standard character, making it easier to block attacks.

Still a fun and challenging game

Overall, Head Ball 2 - Online Soccer is a fun experience best played with friends. It’s football in a loose sense but is incredibly easy to learn and enjoy. You can play competitively or play casually and earn more outfits to customize your avatar. Unfortunately, this game stacks the odds against free players and also suffers from a lot of ads.
