In order for you to be able to analyse and visualize the HDR output of the game, you need to download and install Reshade, then paste the "hdr_view.fx" file into the ".exe" folder, and enable it in-game.

If you have been playing Cyberpunk 2077 for a while, you probably already have an idea of how the game works, but if you want to know more details, here is a short description:

It transforms all SDR pixels to a grayscale, and the rest to a gradient according to the HDR luminance (nits).

The scale in nits is roughly yellow - 200 red - 500 blue magenta

white+ . The shader is based on my own HDR FIX, and it is inspired on the tools used on HDR GAME ANALYSIS.
