HDO Player is a free-to-use multimedia app that acts as a chromatic tuner. This tool from Mohammed EL HAMSA allows you to easily tune your instruments and even create your own compositions. It’s not too far off from apps like PitchLab Guitar Tuner.

Your own pocket-sized recording studio

In addition to tuning your instruments, HDO Player grants users the ability to record audio and store the saved files on their devices. You’ll also be able to combine multiple recordings into one, so you can listen to each one individually before mixing them.

Additionally, this tool allows you to adjust the pitch of your audio, as well. However, users should keep in mind that the app does lack the ability to edit separate audio files on merged tracks. The app can also experience lagging during recording, too. 

Not the best, but still a good choice

HDO Player isn’t quite as polished as other apps that allow you to record, however, with its unique features, it becomes a worthy choice. Not only can you use it as a chromatic tuner, but you can also use it for recording audio and doing minor editing.
