HAZE PIECE is a free-to-play action experience from the Holy Developer Council. This is a role-playing game that features exploration and combat elements. In doing so, it brings the hit anime series One Piece to the world of ROBLOX. In this experience, you are challenged to rise and become the Pirate King. Complete quests, level up, and find unique power-ups that will give you different abilities.

Despite being in ROBLOX’s signature blocky visuals, HAZE PIECE definitely captures elements from the globally popular franchise. Other amazing experiences in the massive sandbox game include Lumber Tycoon 2 and  Squid Game.

Become the Pirate King

In HAZE PIECE, you have a shot to become the Pirate King, a legendary character that drives the events of the One Piece manga and anime. By completing various activities in the game, you can gain experience points and, upon leveling up, you get stat points you can allocate to make your character stronger. There are Combat, Defense, Sword, or Fruit stats for you to upgrade.

Much like the vast ocean, the servers of this game offer a sizable map. There are ten different locations already available, most of them unlockable by reaching certain milestones in the game. This progression makes it rewarding to play through the game, and the references along the way add to the fun, particularly for One Piece fans. This includes locations like the Thriller Island and the Shusui sword.

As an online game, however, you’re partially at the mercy of other players. While most of the stronger players are on the latter islands, some of them have a tendency to stand near the starting point. Other than this, there are odd mechanics inspired by the series it was based on. Traveling is mainly focused on sailing and Devil Fruit users can’t swim.

A treat for ROBLOX and One Piece fans

Overall, HAZE PIECE is one of the most promising efforts to bring One Piece into the ever-growing universe of ROBLOX experiences. Although the leveling-up system is quite simple, with only four stats to choose from, the settings and in-game content definitely throw enough references to cater to different fans of the franchise. While there are a couple of imbalances and oddities in the game, it’s worth a shot..
