Users can find Japanese content on YouTube and import it into HayaiLearn, where they can engage with the material using dual subtitles, AI-generated explanations, and a pop-up dictionary. This interactive approach allows learners to fully immerse themselves in the language while benefiting from contextual understanding.

The extension supports sentence mining by enabling users to save subtitles, take notes, and review them alongside the videos using spaced repetition systems (SRS). Additionally, it allows for the organization of favorite videos into albums and provides an easy search function for video-playable example sentences. Please note that importing videos requires a subscription to HayaiLearn, but once imported, videos can be accessed on various devices, including mobile, tablet, and desktop.
