HarmonicChimes offers a unique experience of exploring the infinite tonal spectrum of Just Intonation on your iPhone. Relax to chime sounds you create, set sleep timers for a melodic slide into sleep, or wake gently from an afternoon meditation. The program allows you to select from built-in chime mixes, sounds, and tunings, or create your own on your iPad.

All sounds in HarmonicChimes are generated in real-time using additive synthesis through the AudioKit audio framework. You can experiment with creating custom sounds by stacking up to six sine wave harmonics, each with unique attack, decay, sustain, and release characteristics. Import various Scala musical tunings or use the built-in tuning systems for further exploration.
