Hannah VCR, developed and published by Spaceboy for PC and VR, is a puzzle game with narrative-driven gameplay and elements of adventure titles. In this retro experience, players must help Hannah on her mission by controlling a VHS to alter the environment within her world. 

Find Hannah’s doll 

Set in a video home system world, you must guide Hannah, the main protagonist, to find her missing doll. Manipulate the expanse with colored squares on the tape, each corresponding to a specific scene in the VHS. Organize them accordingly to advance Hannah in this world. 

Experience this title in two different ways: dive into an immersive VR world where you manipulate tape by hand or play traditionally on consoles or PC for a classic and challenging puzzle-solving adventure. However, the game suffers from stuttering, making it frustrating to play. 

Puzzle-filled VHS experience 

Hannah VCR offers a unique and imaginative puzzle experience, blending nostalgic VHS mechanics with narrative adventure. While its concept and dual gameplay modes are intriguing, persistent stuttering issues, unfortunately, disrupt immersion and may hinder overall enjoyment, especially during more complex puzzle segments. A patch could make all the difference.
