HamLog: Amateur Radio Logging and Tools

HamLog is a comprehensive amateur radio logging and tools application designed for use in the field or while mobile. Compatible with iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad, this app goes beyond just logging contacts. It offers a range of features including contact logging and search, rig control via the Pigtail device from Pignology, and the ability to create custom logs.

HamLog also integrates with QRZ XML for subscribers, HamQTH XML, and allows for exporting contacts via email in ADIF, CSV, or eQSL.cc formats. The app offers automatic name and QTH resolution based on callsigns, as well as an independent callsign lookup tool. It supports CloudSynch for syncing contacts to the web and other iOS/Mac devices.

Other notable features include voice macros, QSO recording, great circle maps, Q signal list, IARU prefixes list, DXCC entities list, US and international band plans, weather forecasting, dupe finder, latest DX spots from DX Summit, and more. HamLog also provides access to real-time telnet DX Cluster, solar data from N0NBH, and has a DTMF tone generator.

With HamLog, you can also log your Field Day activities, export logs via email in CSV format, and benefit from dup detection. The app supports both landscape and portrait modes on the iPad.

Please note that HamLog is not intended to replace more formal logging methods, but rather serves as a quick logging tool while on the go. The developer actively seeks user feedback and aims to address complaints and implement user requests.
