It is a multiplayer, arcade-style football experience wherein players can face each other in team matches. It features charming graphics to complement its casual nature and intuitive controls that are easy to learn.

After this free trial, players can choose from different subscription options to keep playing and unlock the full content experience.

Anything goes football

Halfbrick Sports: Football is a multiplayer arcade football game wherein you can play with others online in three vs. three matches. Your aim is to score as many goals as you can before the clock runs out. There are multiple Halfbrick characters to choose from to form your team, which you can personalize with different avatar icons and emotes as you like.

The interesting thing about the gameplay is that there are no rules or goalkeepers at all. Instead, you will rely on your skills to get past defenders and take your shot at the goal. The controls are intuitive and easy to learn as your character automatically lobs and jumps over enemies, so you can focus on dodging, tackling, and shooting.

As mentioned earlier, this is a free-to-try game with a limited trial period. As such, you will have to deal with random ads that appear while you play, as well as a limited character roster to pick from. However, if you like the gameplay experience, you can remove the ads and unlock all available characters when you purchase a subscription.

Fun and casual

Overall, if you like football games and are looking for more casual gameplay that you can enjoy with friends online, Halfbrick Sports: Football is a solid choice worth considering. It looks great, is easy to learn, and will offer plenty of chances for fun matches. While you do have to subscribe to get the full experience, it's worth it if you enjoy the experience it offers.
