Halcyon 6: Starbase Commander is a role-playing game developed by Massive Damage for Nintendo Switch. The game takes place on the edge of Terran space, where players must reclaim a derelict starbase left behind by a mysterious precursor race and rebuild it. The starbase is the best chance for the New Terran Federation to establish new alliances, research new technologies, and figure out a way to stop an impending alien invasion.

The game is inspired by classic games like Star Control, Master of Orion, X-COM, and Civilization, as well as new classics like FTL. Halcyon 6 features base building, exploration, crew management, deep tactical combat, and story events. Players can spend resources to build station facilities to enhance their production and technological capabilities, or build ships to help them control more territory. They can assign their fleets to nearby star clusters to handle emerging enemy threats, do missions for alien factions, or secure bonus resources. Players can also assign their crew to station facilities to greatly improve their output efficiency, or to ships where they can contribute in unique ways to combat, missions, and events.
