The main character of Hairy Tales is a little hairy man who has found himself lost across a series of islands. As the player, your job is to ensure that his path is clear and that he does not run into trouble. Slide around hexagonal areas of land, some of which feature specific objects such as fences or pools of water that allow the character to transport himself from one area to another. you will also need to guide the character towards collectable items, while avoiding any enemies or traps along the way. Each level has a blue gem, which the main character must collect before the stage is completed; once the gem is retrieved certain areas may change, adding a whole new dimension.
