What is it about these trees that makes us feel so connected to them? Perhaps it is the way they give shade and shelter to all living things, or maybe it is because they have been around for so long and have seen so many things change and evolve. Whatever it is, we cannot deny that they are an important part of the world we live in and it is only right that we take care of them and protect them from harm.

This is the reason why we are trying to create an app that will help us to do just that. The app, entitled Guardians of Champaran, is an initiative by the East Champaran District Administration to protect our elderly trees. It will help us to better understand the needs of these trees and help us to take care of them.
