You will receive a notification from the local health authorities in your area, and you can easily subscribe to receive notifications from the authorities in your area, or from any of the participating hospitals.

The app is a combination of an Exposure Notification System and a P2P communication system. The first time you launch the app, it will ask you to subscribe to one of the participating hospitals or the local health authorities, and you can easily unsubscribe in the settings menu. You will be notified when a COVID-19 case is reported in your area.
