A sketchy-sounding offer that makes a lot more sense when you realize it's a video game. Great the Auto 5 is a portable gun-shooting, car-stealing, city-slicking title in the vein of many contemporary games with similar titles. Among the game's main features are a variety of missions to do and high-quality graphics.

And ads. The game does have a lot of them, when you start or finish a mission they can appear, for example. They generally don't appear in the middle of the action, thankfully, but they can be somewhat disruptive. And the action itself is reasonably satisfying, with controls that are easy enough to learn considering the constraints that the game runs under. There's not a ton of plot or story in this game, just missions, but that should be enough to satisfy the average player who'd be interested in this title.

But overall, Great The Auto 5 is an interesting concept that is marred by serious design flaws. The game promises a lot and can't deliver on most of it. The basic steering controls and gunfights are reasonably well-designed, and the graphics look good, but from the lack of trees as you drive around to serious problems when you even touch water, Great the Auto 5 has some serious flaws. Try it if you need a way to pass a lazy afternoon, though.
