Following the events of NO REST HORROR GAME, this free-to-play entry centers on the titular antagonist, who mysteriously became a savage, bloodthirsty woman. Now, the player — along with other survivors — must do whatever it takes to escape from Granma’s clutches unscathed.

Although the word “multiplayer” is present in the title, the game also includes a single-player campaign. Like most horror titles, players can expect depictions of blood and violence, making it inappropriate for younger audiences.

Don’t get killed

Granny Horror Multiplayer opens with a skippable cutscene wherein one snowy evening, the injured and nearly unconscious player character is seen getting dragged by Granma to her house. Now awakened and chained in a prison cell, the protagonist sees the murderous grandmother beheading a dead victim on a table. The player is then taken to the main menu screen after the cutscene ends.

Continuing from where the cutscene left off, the protagonist breaks free from the chains and wanders around Granma’s house, interacting and collecting objects that are deemed useful for their escape, all while trying not to get killed by Granma and a vicious young lady — presumably her granddaughter. If you’re stumped and don’t know what to do next, you can watch a video to obtain a clue.

Moreover, you can customize your male and female player characters with free and premium accessories as well as unlock a paid alternative look for Granma. Fortunately, you don’t have to spend money on premium cosmetics as they are also obtainable after watching an ad. Apart from the ads that appear on-screen, some players can’t play multiplayer mode due to full servers.

A game ruined by full servers

Similar to other horror games, Granny Horror Multiplayer’s gameplay revolves around covert exploration and object interaction to escape Granma’s house. The stealth factor adds an element of thrill and encourages patience to avoid unnecessary deaths. While this game is more fun with other people, playing multiplayer mode is almost impossible because of the full servers. The advertisements should also be reduced so as not to affect player enjoyment.
