GoTo is a free Chrome extension developed by Steffen Koerner that simplifies the process of mapping keywords to URLs. This extension falls under the category of Browsers and the subcategory of Add-ons & Tools.

Without GoTo, users would typically need to type the URL of the backend server followed by the desired keyword to map it to a specific URL. This process can be cumbersome and time-consuming. However, with GoTo, users can simply type "go" followed by a space in the address bar, and then enter the desired keyword. This eliminates the need to manually enter the URL of the backend server each time.

One important aspect to note is that the mapping between the keyword and URL is done in the backend. Therefore, users need to add the URL of their backend server in the extension options in order to use this plugin effectively. By streamlining the keyword to URL mapping process, GoTo offers users a faster and more convenient browsing experience.
