The American Bible Society developed an English translation of the Bible that is known as the Good News Bible (GNB), which is also known as the Good News Translation in the United States. This translation of the Bible was published in English (GNT). 1966 was the year when it was first made available to the general public as the New Testament with the subtitle "Good News for Modern Man."
